- Marie Dolby Review added: 2018.10.04★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Fuel prices are reasonable for a roadside station (Gulf). Mini-supermarket (W J Davidson, Adderstone Services) is pricey, as you'd expect, but there's a good selection of everything you might want/need for a journey: hot drinks machine; good range of snacks and drinks; car consumables; and there's a toilet at the back of the shop (unfortunately it is basic and often without loo paper or towels, but seems clean enough). It's not a destination(!), but good to stretch your legs on a long journey - still about 1.5 hours to Edinburgh from here. Oh and there's a roadside hotel next door (Purdy's) which I know nothing about other than that I saw the sign.
